In this episode I’m chatting with Heather Nasella, a certified personal trainer and expert homeschooler (she’s been at it for almost a decade!)
Heather is an expert at creating an effective home workout space and strategy for women who either can’t get to a gym or simply prefer the convenience and privacy of home workouts.
She shares how she started working out at home, how she turned that practice into a virtual personal training business, showing other moms how to create the space in their home, and their lives, for life-changing fitness .
- Basic set of Resistance Bands for strength training
- An adjustable barbell/dumbbell weight set
- The Bowflex Selecttech adjustable dumbbell upgrade when we decided to create a home gym

Hi, I’m Heather!
I’m a homeschooling mom, wife, certified personal trainer and owner at Heather Nasella Training LLC.
I love country music, coffee, sleep, hiking and 99% of the time you will find me in some form of active wear.
I grew up in Maine but moved to Massachusetts when I met my husband almost 20 years ago. We have 2 daughters who I have been homeschooling since the beginning (7 years and counting) and even though some days I think I’m crazy, I wouldn’t change it for anything.
For years I struggled with my weight and self esteem, but after the birth of my second daughter I felt so miserable that I knew something needed to change. I decided to make myself a priority and during the process I found myself, my confidence, my independence and my strength.
I became a certified personal trainer because after going through my own journey, I wanted to help other women feel as amazing as I did and now I help women look and feel their best (without restriction) through regular activity, mindset shifts and a gentle nutrition practice.
